Because you used the words “perfect phone” I do NOT trust you. My N900 was NOT a perfect phone. It was good but had a few imperfections.

After 3 months of using this phone I seriously tried to love this phone and I really wanted to maintain my faith in Nokia but can’t help but conclude that this phone was a half baked attempt to keep up with the smartphones race. Nokia introduced marketing spin to define the N900 as a tablet… there’s an app to make this phone a pure tablet and that’s what I’ll be using it for. My full review can be read here:

This chassis have the same dimensions as the 5800, is this the same phone physically, with beefed up internals? Someone needs to address this.

Hi evry1,
I am absolutely loving my n900...
But i did notice a few problems.
1) The stylus if used extensively can produce significant scratches on the screen.
2) The WLAN/WiFi is not powerful enough
3) The touch fails to work precisely in the corners
4) Lack of apps
5) Cannot group the contacts. as a matter of fact, there is absolutely no freedom when it comes to the "phone" part of n900. for eg, we cannot assign different ringtones to different ppl.
6) Deleting a contact from the phone can delete the contact from the user's gmail contact list.
7) The mobile is bulky compared to other phones of its generation.(we can live wid tat)

if anyone has the answrs to these questions, i ll be really happy to be informed.

oh this topic... love this phone. had e72 and than N96 and they were so so. my friend had the n97 and I liked what I saw and from what I read this phone is a step up so I got 2. one off of ebay and one off of

and while he 's been 3 weeks of blissLove the touch screen, camera and processor is nice. Service is easy to check, but I LOVE pancakes keyboard. t could not 'and ask for a better phone in my opinion. Nice to visit your site. Wish you post another good topic like this. I will wait to read it.

My N900 does not seem to get or parse Caller Name provided by the network, it does the address book lookup but if it is not in addressbook it shows nothing in name.

LOVE this phone. had e72 and than N96 and they were so so. my friend had the n97 and I liked what I saw and from what I read this phone is a step up so I got 2. one off of ebay and one off of gsmallover.com and so far it's been 3 weeks of bliss! Love the touch screen, camera, and the processor is nice. The Apps are easy to check out and I friggin LOVE the keyboard. Couldn't ask for a better phone in my opinion.

I have read a number of reviews of the N900 and am on the verge of buying. But I have a MacPro and wonder whether I can transfer my music from iTunes to the N900? I seem to read that I can but songs bought from the iTunes library will be protected and I will not be able to play them.Can someone clarify this please. I also have a PalmOne wireless portable keyboard which I believe works with Symbian. Will it work with the N900? Thanks in advance to someone for replying to this.
