A few members of the media have received invitations to an Ovi event on Thursday 21st January where some big news will be shared. Executive VP Anssi Vanjoki will take the stage along with Nokia UK GM Mark Lughran. I am looking forward to a device announcement, but I think this will be more about the Nokia Ovi store. We’ll find out soon.

The press event on Thursday seems short, but we have to keep in mind that there’s also another Nokia event during Mobile World Congress on February 15th. Our eyes and ears are wide open.

Update: Looks like Nokia is hosting an event in San Francisco this Thursday as well, according to an invitation sent to Technologizer.
