Nokia To Unveil New Phones on January 26th

Mark Loughran, Managing Director, Nokia UK, revealed to Pocket-lint on Thursday that they will unveil a new phone on January 26th. That’s the day right before Apple shows off its latest creation. No other information was shared.

Insider Eldar Murtazin also shared on Twitter that some new devices will indeed be revealed on January 26th, but they won’t be revolutionary. However, he added they will be pretty good. I’m curious. Could it be the rumored C series? Another Maemo device? New Symbian?

    So strange to unveil basic phones before Apple Keynote. It's a strategy which is bad because, people will think that nokia is really "a la traine"

    6710 slide, prettier than 6700 slide looks? :) That's my wish... I really liked the 6600 slides' design. It was perfect... but it didn't come with S60, so it couldn't sync with Exchange - which is my core demand in phones - 2nd option wanted is that Blizzard makes the battle.net mobile authenticator available on more phones so I can get rid of my N95-8GB...

    Eldar just copied of pocket lint and few others at todays event in london on this one.
    Nokia UK manager let slip at todays event they would do a event next week. then was quickly told to say no more by the PR people. Eldar only made that statement knowing that was what others was already who was in UK event.
