Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 mini Receives Firmware Updates

Just as expected, the Nokia N97 received the firmware update 2.1 on Monday. As an added bonus, the Nokia N97 mini also received an update. I was notified via the SW update app within the two phones, but they didn’t allow me to update over the air. If you have these devices, connect them to your PC and run the updater.
I haven’t found the full changelog for either devices, but version 2.1 update for the Nokia N97 promises a range of enhancements including increased call reliability, smoother touchscreen scrolling along with updates to the browser and music player.

Still not seeing the update for the N97 mini NAM (RM-553)….have tried pretty much every day since the update was 'released'. Guess it's not hit the US product codes yet…
