Awesome I had the Facebook conversation plugin but now I am having question if switching to Jabber will duplicate my contacts (the facebook account and the jabber account).

Brilliant. I have the conversation plugin installed and like one of the posters before me am wondering if this will cause duplication of contacts.

hey…..I've done this and all my facebook friends are now in my contact……can someone explain if there is a way to disable this?

Also to thoese who only want to sync selected contacts, try deleting the ones you don't want in facebook.

help! i got 300 new contacts with this… and none merged with old ones…. how do i undo this? Or how do i merge them easily afterwards?

i got 200 contacts from my facebook account and none of them merged! so this does create doubles! i removed all other accounts and plugins before adding this one.
