Nokia Developer Summit 2010 Moved Back 3 Months To Join Nokia World

We just learned that Nokia Developer Summit 2010, originally planned for June in San Francisco, was moved back to September to join the Nokia World event in London. Last April, the first-ever Nokia Developer Summit opened to a sold-out crowd before the Ovi Store opened. This year, I’m looking forward to what developers will come up with on Symbian^3, Symbian^4 and Meego devices.

“In order to maximize value for developers, the global Nokia Developer Summit will be held in conjunction with Nokia World in London, taking place in London September 14-15,” wrote Bill Perry, Sr. Services Marketing Manager for Forum Nokia, on his personal blog. According to the event page, combining these two events maximizes opportunites by bringing together professionals from every part of the wider Nokia community.

I was invited to Nokia World last year in Stuttgart and was able to share the announcements of the Nokia N900, N97 mini, Booklet 3G, X6, and the X3 with access to product managers to answer our questions. I’ll keep my eye on my inbox for an invitation this year.
