ofc, bigger-is-better applies here as well but I don't see why 256 megabytes of ram wouldnt suffice for a symbian device…

I am not a cameraphone-enthusiast, and I wouldn't want a touchscreen device if it was thrown at me, but I envy the 256 megs of ram. Heck, I would be satisfied if I could have 192 in my E72… At least this one is thin, and the OLED capacitive touchscreen looks promising according to the specs, we will see (the reduced capacity battery, on the other hand, doesn't look too promising…)

Hardware is amazing, Symbian 3 is still yet to prove itself. why did they hold back and not go all out with Snapdragon like gigahertz processor. Are they targeting this to camera geeks? I give them credit for finally embracing a capacitive screen (on a flagship device), we've been waiting since '07.

The i8910 can run 62 apps with 256 mb of ram. The N8 will be fine.

Hope it has some hardware graphics accelorator. And some love for Open GLS 2.0.
Nokia has never given symbian the hardware power to compete against the top-notch phone market.
