Nokia C3 Launched in Indonesia & People Lined Up For It

The Nokia C3 launched in Indonesia this week. It’s the first Series 40 device with a full QWERTY keyboard. At the cost of about $100 USD before taxes and subsidies, it’s a really affordable messaging and social networking tool. Nokia posted some photos from the launch. Take a look at that line!

The Nokia C3 includes Nokia Messaging which takes care of the access to Ovi Mail, Ovi Chat, and conversational SMS chat. It also features a two-megapixel camera.

Additional info:
C3 was launched simultaneously in 10 cities across Indonesia. Definitely nobody was paid by Nokia, but lots of mobile phone sellers are queuing to get the $100 special price (MSRP is US$125).

Another additional info: After this photo is taken, it rained but people still held their ground to get C3.
