The only question I have is “why is it so hard to do this with free software” (the answer to which is “because Nokia's kernel doesn't include the necessary modules but it does have a bunch of proprietary crap which makes working with it needlessly difficult”).

there was a free version in the app manages for a very long time.

Too bad Joikuspot on the n900 is a flakey, slow, p.o.c. not worth even $2.. Mobile Hotspot on the other hand works very well and is even free. And for the nerds out there, dnsmasq is installed per default and does everything these 2 apps do and more. Frankly I don't see why anyone in their right mind would pay for Joikuspot.

hey mark how come everytime i try to download BARRIOSQUARE/FOURSQAURE to my N900 i get the error message???
