Shazam for Symbian Re-designed
Getting Introduced to #NokiaBox
A small package came on Wednesday from WOMWorld Nokia. I almost missed delivery, but DHL was determined to get it in my hands right away. There was a small box with nothing but a USB drive inside. It contained a video that told me to prepare for something big on the 17th. Seven other bloggers are participating in this mysterious campaign. It is being tagged as #NokiaBox.
Nokia N97 Mini vs Nexus One Camera at USA vs Brazil Game
My current workhorse is the Nokia N97 mini, but I also haven’t been able to leave home without the Nexus One. I had both phones during the football game between USA and Brazil, so I figured you might like a quick camera test. Here are photo and video samples for you to judge.
Nokia C3 Launch in Vietnam Drew a Large Crowd
You were probably surprised when people lined up for the Nokia C3 in Indonesia, but it looks even crazier when the affordable messaging smartphone launched in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam on Sunday. About 7,000 buyers supposedly showed up where only 5,000 units were available. There’s a video you definitely have to watch.
App Video: I Parked Here for Symbian
I Parked Here is an app for Symbian that lets you remember your car’s parking space with a click of a button. It can find your car with the help of Ovi Maps and its free turn-by-turn voice navigation. Just press “Find my car” to get directions. This is great for me because I always forget where I park my car.

When Niklas Savander responded on Twitter about the release date of the first Meego device from Nokia, he tweeted cryptically, “a major product milestone by the end of the year.” We asked him for clarification during dinner with journalists and bloggers last night and he said the message was intentionally mysterious. It could mean a device launch, device announcement, or possibly even something else. Nokia is keeping us on our toes.

Nokia’s Executive Vice President Markets, Niklas Savander, just spent an hour responding to questions about Nokia on Twitter. His last response was granting @SimonBates from South Africa a trip to Nokia World in London! Anyhow, I was invited to dinner with Niklas tonight in New York City, so send me your questions he couldn’t respond to on Twitter. I’ll try to get them answered for you.
