Nokia N8 Releasing September 23rd in the UK, 1 Week Before Anyone Else

Nokia has been buying Google Adwords to reveal the release date in the UK. The ads in question say the Nokia N8 is in stock and ready for dispatch on September 23rd. They also included that the UK will have it one week before anyone else. The ads forward to nokia.co.uk/n8 but the pre-order button is yet to be seen. Perhaps they went up prematurely.

The pre-order has already been available in the US, but with the availability at the end of September. I’m a little jealous our friends in the UK will have it a week earlier.

    End of September can be 23rd or 30th. It is last week of September.

    True, but the ad says, “one week before anyone else.” I assume that means the UK will have it a week before the US.

    *Grins* Everything is going according to my plans. Using my Kyōka Suigetsu, I placed an illusion on Mark Guim to make him believe that the UK would be getting the N8 one week before any other country. In reality, all that the Google Adwords text means is that, in the UK, Nokia’s own store will have an exclusive on the N8 for a week. *Grins some more*

    Brilliant News at Last that we are finally going see the Nokia N8 released,at we first saw the N8 in April an it seems to have taken Nokia loads of time to really get the N8 offically released,an just hope the N8 will be a Really Top Class Smartphone an get Nokia back Challenging in the Top End Mobile Market

    Im pretty sure regional ads only compete with their region

    just like Nokia USA will have it before anyone else (ie Amazon, Dell, etc)

    and Nokia UK will have it before Mobilefun, Expansys, Handtec, Clove Tech etc

    but if they meant for it to mean the world then damn them! ;)
