Participating in the contest is as simple as becoming a fan of Nokia UK on Facebook and entering your contact info at the promo website above. You have until September 16th to enter. Filming will take place on September 20th in London.

The Nokia N8 introduces a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash. Additionally, the Nokia N8 offers the ability to make HD-quality videos and edit them with a built-in editing suite. It’s unclear whether the film will be edited on the phone as well. Powering the Nokia N8 is Symbian ^3, which introduces several major advances, including support for multi touch on the device’s 3.5in capacitive touchscreen. It is expected to come out at the end of September, but we’re hoping for an earlier release.

UPDATE I asked Nokia for this campaign’s validity and they responded,

As part of our local Nokia N8 launch activities around the world, Nokia UK is running a tactical promotion to demonstrate the excellent imaging and other capabilities of the Nokia N8. The campaign will feature members of the public as the stars and famous Hollywood actors as extras. It will be filmed by a professional crew. The HD video and recording capability will be demonstrated with the creation of a short film solely using N8.
