A hacker by the name of hyperX claims to have modified the camera on the Nokia N8 to add 30 frames per second recording (versus the default 25fps) and continuous autofocus. There’s a video and screenshot for evidence. Continuous autofocus is cool, but the clicking sounds are disconcerting. Go watch the video.

The modification doesn’t require installing a new firmware and hyperX says you can email him if you want to test it out on your Nokia N8.
