Meego 1.1 SDK Beta Released Days Before Meego Conference
Hey there, developers! Meego 1.1 SDK beta just came out. The release enables you to develop, install, and debug applications, as well as run applications on the Nokia N900, netbook, and Aava devices with MeeGo. Developers will need a Linux system for this SDK beta since Windows support is still unstable. Go ahead, and start working on that killer app.

If you’re interested in creating an app for Meego, you can read the announcement directly from the Meego community here and the SDK release notes here.
This release comes just in time before the first Meego Conference, which is scheduled next week in Dublin. About a thousand participants will be at the 3-day community-focused event all about Meego. I’m not expecting any major announcements, but I’ll be there, hoping someone gives a sneak preview of a Nokia Meego device.
