Quick Look: ScreenSnap for Symbian, Capture Screenshots on Your Smartphone
Here’s a quick look at a Symbian app that helps me out a lot on this blog. It’s called the Best Screen Snap by Smartphoneware. Once installed, the icon just says ScreenSnap. The app lets you capture screenshots on your smartphone and save them to the phone gallery. You can then transfer it to the desktop or upload it to your imaging hosts.
You can also watch this video in HD on Youtube. Subscribe to the channel to preview the latest videos before they get published on the blog.

There’s configurable hotkey to make a screenshot. I selected the half-press on my Nokia N8′s camera button. There’s a sound notification after taking screenshot to confirm the action. You can also choose the image quality of the image, whether it is true colour BMP, 256 colour BMP, or JPG. I prefer the high quality JPG for best results.
You can download and use ScreenSnap absolutely free of charge. No spyware or adware inside. It’s available at the Smartphoneware website.
