Trying to figure out how much tip to give when dining out shouldn’t be hard. I just purchased Tippy for my Nokia N8 from the Ovi Store to do that job. It’s only 99 cents. Take a look at the video demo so you can check if it’s worth downloading (I’d say it is worth it).

Tippy is pretty straightforward. Enter your bill total, the number of people splitting the bill, and your location. After entering the necessary numbers, it displays the tip per person and the new total.

When you change location, the app gives a suggested tipping custom. For example, Finland already includes service charge, so tip is not recommended. Tipping is also not recommended in Switzerland, but you are encouraged to round up. Tipping in England defaults to 10% (instead of 15% in the USA).
