Deal: Nokia N8 Green $410 at Dell, Expires Feb 9th
There’s no coupon needed for this deal. The green Nokia N8 is available at Dell for $410 with free shipping. It’s cheaper than Nokia’s retail site ($450) right now and even Amazon. Deal expires February 9th, but I think this may only be valid in the USA.
Symbian Update PR1.1 – That’s It?
Symbian software update 1.1 started to roll out and Nokia Conversations posted the changes. The update is available from today for the Nokia C7 and will be available for the Nokia N8 and C6-01 next week. My initial reaction to changelog is, “That’s it?” Take a look at the list after the jump.

Watch the Nokia E7 Design Video Closely to Win the Device
I shouldn’t be telling you this so I can have better chances of winning the Nokia E7, but I love my readers too much. Nokia has uploaded a Youtube video, Nokia Behind the E7: Design, that won’t go public until 9:00am GMT on the 4th February. If you look closely, there’s a hidden message on how to win a Nokia E7. Go watch it before Nokia’s 19,700 Youtube subscribers get access tomorrow!
If Nokia Goes Android, Can They Differentiate with Amazing Cameras?
After listening to several sources, it’s very unlikely that Nokia is going to adopt Android. One of the main reasons was there’s no way to differentiate among other manufacturers already using the Android platform. I asked my Twitter followers last night if Nokia can differentiate with their amazing Carl Zeiss cameras (like the one on the Nokia N8). I got some interesting replies. Take a look.
Nokia E7 Preview and Sample Video by Telefonino
Telefonino got their hands on a Nokia E7 and just posted their preview on Youtube. It’s a 20-minute overview of the device, but you might have a hard time understanding since the video is in Italian. I don’t see a write-up on their website that we can translate, but I expect it will go up soon. Video after the jump.
MeeGo Devices at Intel AppUp Application Lab Feb 16th
If you want to spend some time with Meego-based devices, you might want to head over to Barcelona. In addition to Mobile World Congress, there’s an event called Intel AppUp Application Lab: MeeGo Series on February 16th. According to the agenda, MeeGo devices will be there for attendees to play with. The event is targeted towards developers. We’re still not sure if Meego devices from Nokia will be announced at MWC, so we’ll just have to wait. Check out the agenda after the jump
Nokia E6-00 to Feature VGA Screen, 4:3 Ratio
Engadget discovered the User Agent profile for the unannounced Nokia E6-00 and found something interesting. They noticed the screen resolution to be 640×480, also known as VGA. This is odd because many of Nokia’s touchscreen devices have 16:9 ratio like 640×360 on the Nokia N8. A VGA screen has 4:3 ratio and is slightly wider.
