A Nokia Exec told Hindustan Times (HT) that Nokia is planning to release 12 more smartphones in 2011. We could even see some of these phones this month. Don’t expect any Nokia Windows phones, though. Those devices probably won’t come out until next year. Nokia expects to sell millions of Symbian devices in years to come, so I’ll assume most of the 12 upcoming smartphones this year will be running that OS.

The price range for these devices isn’t known at this time. Hindustan Times says Nokia launching 12 more smartphone models this year is likely to be greater than the major competitors put together for the current year.
