Nokia To Get Delivery of Windows Phone Devices in September
Nokia is expecting to receive 2 million Nokia Windows Phone devices from Taiwanese original device manufacturer (ODM) Compal in September. This unconfirmed info comes from a tweet by Dan Nystedt, a longtime technology journalist in Taiwan for IDG News, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal, others; now working for investment company. The devices are reported to go on sale in October.
Nokia World is scheduled for October 26-27th in London. Unwired View does not believe the new handsets will be launched or announced earlier than a week before the event. Can you imagine the look of surprise on everyone’s faces if Nokia unveils the first Nokia Windows Phone devices and announces availability in the same month?!
