We told you earlier that the Nokia Developer forum was hacked. Nokia addressed the problem immediately and initially stated that only a small number of member records had been accessed. However, a recent email sent to forum members says the number is significantly larger. Nokia has now taken the developer community website offline as a precautionary measure while they conduct further investigations and security assessments.

The developer community website is located here. It currently displays a message from Nokia explaining why the discussion board is offline.

Nokia also sent emails to affected forum members, though they believe the only potential impact to them may be unsolicited emails.
