The Nokia E7 just got a price drop at Amazon. It’s now available for a lower price of $406. Coupons are not needed, but we’re not sure when this deal expires. This only applies to the silver color. Now might be a good time if you were considering this Symbian device with slide-out keyboard.

Demo: Symbian Anna Update Now Available for Nokia N8, C7, C6-01, E7

The long-awaited Symbian Anna update is now available for the Nokia Nokia N8, C7, C6-01, and the E7. The update includes new icons, portrait QWERTY keyboard (yay!), faster web browser, and other minor improvements. I recorded a video to show Anna for those who haven’t updated yet.

Polar to Launch 300 Apps for Nokia Phones, First 50 on Symbian

Nokia partners up with Polar Mobile to launch over 300 mobile apps for major media brands over the next 12 months. The apps will be made available to Nokia devices running Symbian, MeeGo, and Windows Phone. The first 50 will be available for Symbian through the Nokia Ovi Store in the next two months.

Nokia to Exhibit and Keynote at MWC 2012

Nokia has been off-site the last couple of years at Mobile Word Congress (MWC), but 2012 will be different. At the upcoming event, Nokia will exhibit in a 2,300 square meter space and CEO Stephen Elop will be a keynote speaker. MWC is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry.

Nokia To Get Delivery of Windows Phone Devices in September

Nokia is expecting to receive 2 million Nokia Windows Phone devices from Taiwanese original device manufacturer (ODM) Compal in September. This unconfirmed info comes from a tweet by Dan Nystedt, a longtime technology journalist in Taiwan for IDG News, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal, others; now working for investment company. The devices are reported to go on sale in October.

Nokia President Says Android Has The Worst Email Client

Chris Weber, President of Nokia North America, recently talked to VentureBeat about Windows Phones, US carriers, and the changes in US operations. One part of the interview might get some Android fanboys angry. Weber said Android has the worst email client he has ever seen.
