Manager Resigns Over a Nokia Windows Phone Tweet?

According to GeekWire, the Windows Phone manager who tweeted about an unreleased Nokia Windows Phone supposedly resigned after learning that he would be let go for improper use of social media and disclosure of confidential information. Microsoft has confirmed that Joe Marini, principal program manager for the Windows Phone web platform, no longer works for the company.

We don’t know the full story here, but Geekwire said they’ve reached out to Marini for comments. We all love to get information early and read about leaks, but it’s not cool when someone loses their job over it.
