I was very fortunate to take the Nokia Lumia 800 out for a spin during the first day of Nokia World. Of course whenever there’s a new device, an unboxing has to be done. This should give you a clear idea of how the sales packaging is going to look in stores.

This is the first Windows Phone device I’ve played with for more than 10 minutes. The last one was an HTC HD7 before the Mango update. I’ll have a separate post for first impressions, but I’ll say that I’m liking the OS. It feels very different. The feature I’m most impressed with is the People Hub. More on that later.
