The Twitter integration in Windows Phone is great, but those who want more control should check out the Rowi application. I was told it’s the best Twitter app for Windows Phone. I don’t have a Nokia Windows Phone device for the demo, but I do have a Samsung Focus which will show how the app looks on the platform.

Rowi has a free ad-supported version and a $2.99 version without ads and includes push notifications.

I experienced some lag when scrolling with the app using the Samsung Focus. I hope the more recent Windows Phone devices don’t have this problem. The developers of Rowi also reassured me on Twitter that they have an update with smoother scrolling that will be out soon.
