I’ve been hunting down great apps at the Windows Phone Marketplace, but recently discovered one that’s already pre-installed. I’m talking about OneNote, which is part of Microsoft Office for Windows Phone. I’ve been using it to write down video ideas for our Youtube channel. Since it is stored in the cloud, I can see or edit the same note on the Nokia Lumia 800, my Macbook, or even the iPhone.
There’s a seller on eBay with the Nokia Lumia 710 for T-mobile earlier than the official January 11th release date. Seller says he won it from Nokia and doesn’t know much info on this phone. This is the first time we’ve seen the packaging.
T-Mobile has uploaded a flier for a program called SmartStart in their Support Forums. It’s designed to help consumers get the most out of their new Nokia Windows Phone. SmartStart assists in setup and personalization. The free program will probably go live near January 11th when the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 releases.
I opened App Highlights today on the Nokia Lumia 800 and noticed it displayed “Weber’s Picks” on the first page. I don’t think I’ve seen this before. There’s no explanation anywhere in this app who Weber is, but if you follow Nokia, you probably know that he is the Nokia US president. Let’s take a look at his picks.

Seiko Epson announced on Monday that they’ve agreed to pay Nokia $80 million to settle a lawsuit in the US and UK. That’s like a nice little Christmas present for Nokia. The lawsuit was filed in 2009 relating to purchases of liquid-crystal displays.
