Nokia EVP of Design Hints Wireless Charging for Future Nokia Lumia Devices

In an interview with The Guardian, Nokia’s Executive Vice President of Design, Marko Ahtisaari, hints that Nokia is considering devices with wireless charging. This system already exists in products such as the Palm Pre and the HP Touchpad, but I definitely would love to see it on Nokia devices.

One advantage of wireless charging is there’s no hassle of untangling cords and plugging devices in. You can just set your devices down on a special charging dock. Imagine if all cars, coffee shops, and hotels came standard with wireless charging mats. We wouldn’t have to worry about carrying wires or cords.

Do you want wireless charging built-in on your future phone?
