UK Soap Opera Hollyoaks Signs 4-Month Nokia Lumia Product Placement Deal
Teen soap opera in the UK, Hollyoaks, landed a major product placement deal with Nokia. The show will feature Nokia Lumia smartphones for four months starting in July.
Philippines: Nokia Lumia 900 in Stores this Weekend
When Nokia teased us on their Facebook page in the Philippines, many thought that the Nokia 808 PureView was going to hit this weekend. Some had doubts and they weren’t wrong. The latest status update confirms that it’s actually the Nokia Lumia 900 that will be hitting the stores this weakend.
Thailand: Nokia Lumia 610 Now in Stores
The Nokia Lumia 610 is now available at all Nokia shops and dealers in Thailand. You can get it in Cyan, Black, Magenta, or White. The Lumia 610 costs 7,400 THB ($232 USD).
Nokia Lumia Short Film with King of Popularity in China, Han Geng
Nokia uploaded another original short film online in China, this time with Han Geng. He’s also known as the “Dancing King” and “King of Popularity” in China. The video is a couple of minutes long, showing off some of his dance moves. Lumia devices are shown off too.
Philippines: Nokia 808 PureView Teased for Upcoming Weekend
Nokia in the Philippines just hinted on their Facebook page that “something BIG is coming this weekend.” The caption accompanies four photos. Since the Nokia 808 PureView is an imaging powerhouse, many of the fan page commenters believe this is a hint for the Symbian device’s release in the country.
Singapore Video: Nokia Lumia 900 Smokes 51 Phones
The Nokia Lumia 900 went on sale in Singapore last weekend. Coincidently, Nokia sent media personality, Paul Foster, to various malls around the island and challenged people to see which phone is faster everyday stuff they do on their smartphones. The Nokia Lumia 900 smoked 51 phones and lost once.

Nokia Lumia 800 Tango Update (8773) Hands-on
I stumbled upon a Nokia Lumia 800 running the new Windows Phone Tango firmware here in Bangkok. The changes are subtle, but the major addition is Internet Sharing. The Nokia Lumia 800 devices currently being sold in Thailand unfortunately do not have this update yet. I’ve been waiting for this feature for so long!

Nokia World 2012 To Split Into Multiple Smaller Events Around the Globe
Nokia World has usually been one large Nokia conference each year, but the format is going to change. It will now split into smaller, more intimate events around the globe. The first of these will take place in Helsinki on September 5-6th for operator and retail partners only.
