Now when you tweet your Windows Phone, it will say “via Microsoft.” Previously, it said, “via Windows Live.” I’m personally not a fan of this move. I think “via Windows Phone,” would make more sense. That’s actually what is being used for Facebook updates. What do you think?

Why was it changed to “via Microsoft?” According to WPCentral, this is another step in the withdrawal of the Live branding in favor of Microsoft and Windows for the upcoming launch of Windows 8.

I like using the built-in “post a message” from Windows Phone. It lets me update both my Facebook and Twitter statuses in one try. How do you feel about, “via Microsoft?”
