The Nokia Austrian office served Central and Eastern Europe. They managed Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece and Israel.

After the move, Austria will become part of the region, “Western Europe.” The regional office is in Finland.

This is part of an accelerated cost reduction program by Nokia. They announced back in June that it will cut up to 10,000 jobs worldwide by the end of next year.
