Next Nokia Flagship To Use Aluminum, Will Be Thinner & Lighter Than Lumia 920

The Verge reports that Nokia is planning to switch to aluminum material for at least one high-end Lumia device releasing this year. The successor to the Nokia Lumia 920, codenamed Catwalk, will sport the new aluminum body and will be a lot thinner and lighter than the current flagship. How do you feel about this?

Aluminum

Aluminum was used in previous Nokia flagship devices. The Nokia N8 and E7 were both released in a range of bright colors. Current Nokia Lumia devices such as the Lumia 920, 810, 820, and 822 use polycarbonate. The move to aluminum opens the door to thinner devices.

The Verge expects to see Nokia’s Catwalk device later this year. Are we going to see an announcement at Mobile World Congress in February?
