Nokia Lumia 820 MakerBot 3D-Printed Shell

Makerbot has taken the files for the Nokia Lumia 820 custom removable shell and printed their own case. They used the Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer and said the case fits great. Want to get your own printer? It starts at $2,199 USD. Photos of the case after the jump.

The material used for the case by the 3D printer was Polylactic Acid or PLA. It’s super strong, but it’s more likely to snap than bend.
If I can make my own custom case for the Nokia Lumia 820 or any upcoming phone, I’d create one with a tripod socket. What would you create?
