Nokia Music+ Announced, Offers More Music For $3.99 a Month

Nokia Music+ was just announced today. It’s the paid version of Nokia Music, which I think is already great. For $3.99 a month, you get unlimited skips, unlimited downloads, higher quality playback, and more. The service will roll out in the next few weeks.

The free version of Nokia Music already lets you listen to millions of songs out of the box without the need to sign up, sign in, or listen to advertisements. You can even download playlists, so you can listen them while you’re offline.

Currently, you can skip 6 songs within an hour and download 4 playlists for offline listening. Nokia Music+ gives you unlimited for both features. The Nokia Music+ subscription also gives you access to the service without your phone. Other features include lyrics display and higher quality playback.

A comparable service that is very popular is Spotify. They charge $9.99 per month. Unfortunately, it is not available yet for Windows Phone 8.

Are you signing up for Nokia Music+?

i will deff pay for this, having a better quality, unlimited skips and the chance to play in my PC & TV makes it a very good deal.

$3.99 is a good deal, but I’m surprised the free version is good as well. I’ve probably only reached the skip limit once because I rarely press skip.

I’m not an audiophile, but I found the music quality to be good already too. Now I’m curious how the “better quality” sounds with Nokia Music+
