We’re looking for a car mount that we can use to shoot videos while driving. Here’s a review of the iOttie Easy Flex 2 Car Mount Holder. It has over 600 reviews on Amazon so we thought we’d try it out as well.

The suction is very strong and the arms hold the phone well, but the swivel is positioned away from the center. This makes it very unbalanced especially when a heavier phone like the Nokia Lumia 920 is attached. There are 2 sample footage in this video that shows how shaky it is while driving.

What we really liked about this car mount is that the camera is not blocked. While it’s fine for turn-b-turn navigation, it is not stable enough for the Nokia Lumia 920 to be used as a dashboard camera. Let us know if you have any recommendations for a car mount holder.
