Let’s Get Instagram on Windows Phone #2InstaWithLove
One app that many Windows Phone users have been asking for is Instagram. Nokia released an app today called #2InstaWithLove as a way for us to have our voices heard. The app adds a filter to your photo and adds the hashtag when you share to your social network. Hopefully, the people in charge at Instagram see enough demand from the Windows Phone community.
#2InstaWithLove is accessible as a camera lens in addition to the usual app list.

A photo stream is displayed on the main screen. We’re not sure if there’s someone at Nokia curating these photos, or if they are picked randomly from all the uploads.

You can add a photo from the gallery or take a new photo. After capture, a filter is applied and the the hashtag is added at the bottom. You can then share it to your social network.

It makes me wonder why this app was created. Did Nokia have a chat with Instagram and the deal did not go through? Did Instagram tell Nokia they will only create the app for Windows Phone if the hashtag #2InstaWithLove gets tweeted one million times? Probably not. Whatever the reason may be, go download the app and keep tweeting. We want it ASAP!
