Nokia N97 Photos from Green Papaya Thai Restaurant
Judging from past photos, it’s sometimes better to leave the flash off when taking photos inside a restaurant. We had lunch at Green Papaya Thai restaurant and had the Nokia N97 to take photos of the food. There was a large window behind me with enough light coming in. I made sure to force the Nokia N97 to keep the flash off. Take a look.
Nokia N97 Photos with Fast Exposure
We’ve made it a habit to wake up early Saturday mornings to play basketball and I’ve been using the Nokia N97 to take photos. I just found out now that the N97 can take photos at 1/1000th of a second. This is great for freezing actions. Take a look at some of the samples.
Flicker Twitter Beta Now Called Flickr2Twitter
I’ve been using Flickr Twitter beta for a week, and Flickr just announced on their blog it’s out of beta. They even gave out 3 extra months of Pro account for testers. Flickr2Twitter allows me to send photos from my Nokia phone to Flickr and Twitter.
10 Things Nokia Should Fix with the Nokia N97 Firmware Update
When people ask me about the Nokia N97, I tell them I love it! It meets my needs better than any other devices currently out there including other Nokia phones or competitors like the Apple iPhone. Want Instant Messaging on Nokia? Try Palringo
Yesterday, I received a Facebook IM from Dayene asking me what I thought about the Nokia N97. Back and forth, we told each other the positives and negatives. In the middle of the conversation, she mentioned she was using Palringo on the Nokia N97 to chat with me. I was surprised because I don’t use IM on my phones. I quickly installed it on my Nokia N97 and was impressed.
Using the iPhone Reminds Me Why I like Nokia
One of my favorite things to do in Nokia devices is tweeting and sharing photos immediately from wherever I am. This is possible thanks to the “Share Online” app within the camera using a free service called Pixelpipe. I borrowed my wife’s new iPhone 3G S yesterday to see if I can do the same thing. My experience reminded me why I like my Nokia phones.
Nokia N97 Review of Hardware
It’s been a week since I started playing with the Nokia N97 and now it’s time for my review of the hardware. I’ve been waiting for this phone for a while and I’m excited it’s finally here. I have reviewed a Nokia N97 prototype before, and the final retail version hardware isn’t that different. I’ll let you know what I think of the physical aspects and continue with my usual posts of usage experience and thoughts.
Goodbye Twitpic! Tweet Photos With Flickr Twitter Beta
Watch out Twitpic! Flickr now allows its users to automatically send out a tweet whenever they upload photos through email. If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably notice I prefer to include photos with my tweets. I’ve been doing this with Twitpic on Nokia phones, but I no longer need it thanks to Flickr Twitter beta.
