Nokia World 2012 to be Held in Helsinki, Finland
Circle September 25 and 26 on your calendar. Nokia World 2012 will be held on those days in Helsinki, Finland. The two previous Nokia World events were in London. It will be held in Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre. I’ve attended in the past 2 years, covering the event for The Nokia Blog. Nokia 808 Pureview Not Coming to North America
According to a recently discovered official Nokia developer page, the Nokia 808 PureView is going to launch globally except North America. This shouldn’t surprise anyone that follows Nokia news since Nokia’s US president told everyone months ago they’re going to stop selling Symbian phones in North America when Nokia Windows Phone devices launch.

Nokia announced on Monday they’re discontinuing Ovi Share on May 30, 2012. Users can download their content before the service gets unplugged. You can download your content in one large file, or in various packages for those with slower connections. The decision will help Nokia focus on core service offerings.
Nokia Lumia 800 Price Drops 20% in India
The Nokia Lumia 800 in India received about a 20% price drop over the weekend. It is now priced at around 23,500 INR which is about $471 USD. The Lumia 800 was launched in India in December for 29,999 INR. Early buyers might be annoyed at this price cut, but this is great news for those who decided to wait.
