Want Instant Messaging on Nokia? Try Palringo
Yesterday, I received a Facebook IM from Dayene asking me what I thought about the Nokia N97. Back and forth, we told each other the positives and negatives. In the middle of the conversation, she mentioned she was using Palringo on the Nokia N97 to chat with me. I was surprised because I don’t use IM on my phones. I quickly installed it on my Nokia N97 and was impressed.
Goodbye Twitpic! Tweet Photos With Flickr Twitter Beta
Watch out Twitpic! Flickr now allows its users to automatically send out a tweet whenever they upload photos through email. If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably notice I prefer to include photos with my tweets. I’ve been doing this with Twitpic on Nokia phones, but I no longer need it thanks to Flickr Twitter beta.

As some of you may recall, when Nokia Chat launched around August of last year, an enterprising Howard Forums member wrote a small bot that would echo messages sent to it to other users who had sent the bot a message, forming an ersatz IRC channel. Unfortunately, this bot was pulled offline within a few months, and the thrill of a new Nokia service had worn off long before then with users drifting back to the more mainstream chat networks such as MSN and Y!IM.

I’ve talked about Shozu and Mobypictures before, but Pixelpipe really stands out as the winner. Not only does it work with Nokia’s own Share Online, but the also provide a lot of places you can simultaneously upload to. Now there’s no reason for me NOT to upload to Ovi Share.
