Social Birthday Tile uses your Facebook account to figure out which friends of yours have birthdays this week and show it on a live tile! In the app itself, you can go and post on your friend’s wall using message templates. You can see how it works on my Nokia Lumia 800.
Demo: Creative Studio for Windows Phone
Creative Studio by Nokia was just released in the Windows Phone Marketplace. It lets you take photos with live special effects, edit existing photos and also an option for panorama. It’s absolutely free, so there’s no reason not to try it. I made a video to show you how it looks on my Nokia Lumia 800.

Google Search app for Windows Phone was just updated and I have a video to show you what’s new. You can now download the app at the marketplace. The latest version features autocomplete, voice search, and location. Video demo on the Nokia Lumia 800 after the jump.
Demo: Carbon Twitter App for Windows Phone Now Available
Carbon for Windows Phone is finally available at the Marketplace. It’s a new Twitter app you should check out. The current version is 1.1 and it costs $1.99. They’re already on their way to release version 1.2 that supports trial mode so you can try the app for free before purchase. I shot a video this morning to show you how it looks on the Nokia Lumia 800.
Demo: Seesmic Ping Goes Live. Post Anywhere, Anytime
Facebook and Twitter addicts are going to like Seesmic Ping for Windows Phone. It will let you post to multiple Twitter accounts, Facebook profile, multiple Facebook pages, and more in one try. What’s great is that photos and links look like they’ve been posted natively. You can also schedule posts. Here’s a video of how it looks on my Nokia Lumia 800.
You May Hit Trouble on Your 6th Windows Phone Device
The cyan Nokia Lumia 800 I recently unboxed was my 6th Windows Phone device. How did I know? I was unable to download any apps from the Marketplace because of this error. It looks like we are only allowed to associate our Windows Live ID with 5 phones. If you don’t manually remove your previous phones from your account settings, you won’t be able to download new apps on your 6th phone.

4th & Mayor Update 3.2, Best Foursquare App for Windows Phone
4th & Mayor is currently the favorite Foursquare application for Windows Phone. I can’t believe I haven’t made a video for this before. Version 3.2 just came out with two new major features: restaurant menu and QR check-in. These features are not yet in the iPhone app so Windows Phone users get an exclusive experience! How to Force Update on the Nokia Lumia 800
The Nokia Lumia 800 update OS version 7.10.8107 became available for download today in some regions. If your device doesn’t automatically notify you, there’s a way to force the update. I’m not able to confirm this trick, but a few have reported that it works with a few attempts.
Panorama photos with Pano for Windows Phone
Do you love to take panorama photos? Check out Pano on your Nokia Lumia phone. It’s an award-winning app that was ported from iOS that lets you take seamless panoramic photos straight from your phone. You can take up to sixteen photos, but I like to limit it to 3 or 4.
