Nokia Asha 308, 309, 311. What Are the Differences?
“Didn’t the Nokia Asha 311 just come out?” That was my first reaction when I read about the recent Nokia Asha 308 and 309 announcement. It made more sense after looking closely at the specs. The Asha 308 and 309 will be around $99 USD which is about $50 cheaper than the current price for the Asha 311. Let’s take a look at the differences after the jump.

Nokia 808 PureView vs Sony RX100 Photos
Both have large sensors and fit in your pocket. One is a dedicated camera, the other is a camera… with a phone. DCfever took some photos with the 2 devices for comparison. Video: Favorite Places With Nokia Drive 3.0
Nokia Drive 3.0 came out a few days ago and I’m really liking it. The highlight of the update is My Commute, but unfortunately that’s currently only available in the US. The feature from this update that I really like is adding favorite places to the home screen for instant navigation. It has been very useful while we’re traveling in Malaysia.

If you just updated your Nokia Lumia to the latest Windows Phone Tango firmware, check the wallpapers album. There are new photos there inspired by nature. The backstory to these wallpapers is also very interesting. Watch the video for a demo on a Nokia Lumia 800 if you haven’t updated yet.
Video: Nokia Lumia 800 Tango Update, Internet Sharing FINALLY!
The new Tango software update for the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 started rolling out this week. Go open up Zune for PC or Windows Phone Connector on your Mac to check if you’re eligible. Another way to check is by going to Nokia’s software update page. It will tell you which regions have it now.

Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 owners are currently waiting for the Windows Phone Tango update. Two features in this update are Internet Sharing and flip-to-silence. These features are actually already available on the Nokia Lumia 900. If you can’t wait, there’s actually a quicker way to silence a call without the Tango update.

Camera Extras is now available for some Nokia Lumia owners. Luckily, I’m able to download it on my Nokia Lumia 900. This app will add 4 new options to your built-in camera settings. Take a look at the video.
