I’ve been playing with the T-mobile Nokia Lumia 710 for at least a week already and now I’m ready to share my review. It’s the first Nokia Windows Phone in the US. It will be available on January 11th for only $50 at T-mobile. You might even find it for free when Amazon starts selling [...]
Continue reading Nokia Lumia 710 Video Review (T-Mobile) at The Nokia Blog

Here’s our Nokia Lumia 800 review. When the Fedex shipment tracker said the Nokia Lumia 800 was at my door, I quickly took a cab home. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Nokia’s latest hero device. A couple of paranoid thoughts mixed with excitement went through my head during the half hour ride.
I’m going to try something new. Instead of reviewing phones with multiple paragraphs, I’ll be more visual and now do it through videos. The first phone to get that treatment is the T-Mobile Nokia Astound. The Astound is basically the Nokia C7 with newer firmware, portrait Qwerty, updated browser, and a few other extras. Priced [...]
Continue reading T-Mobile Nokia Astound Video Review at The Nokia Blog

The Nokia N8 is the first Symbian^3 smartphone released globally and big emphasis is placed on its imaging capabilities. With 12 megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss optics, and Xenon flash, the N8 takes amazing photos. However, we’re talking about a phone here. Is the Nokia N8 with the latest Symbian OS good enough to be your [...]
Continue reading Nokia N8 Review at The Nokia Blog

I met with Nokia folks at the Dolby offices in New York City to preview the Nokia N8. I wondered about the location, but it made sense after remembering that the Nokia N8 is world’s first handset featuring Dolby Digital Plus. The whole ordeal was only an hour, so it left me wanting more.
I’ve been playing with the Nokia E73 Mode for a few days now and I want to share with you what I think. It’s 2010 and we’re already used to seeing phones with large touchscreens, but it looks like Qwerty-only devices from Nokia aren’t going away anytime soon.
The Booklet 3G is Nokia’s first netbook, but they’re trying not to label it as such. It’s supposed to be a mini laptop for all-day mobility allowing up to 12 hours on a single charge. It looks great, too.
The Nokia N900 was just announced that it started shipping on Tuesday. I’ve been using a pre-production version for a month now and just updated to the production firmware (1.2009.42-11). I’ll edit this review when I get my hands on a production hardware model and notice any difference. Want to know what I think in [...]
Continue reading Nokia N900 Review at The Nokia Blog

Email is a very important feature for me and it works pretty well on the Nokia N900… for the most part. I’ll show you how it looks on the pre-production Nokia N900 from setup, to reading the inbox, replying, and creating emails.
Mobile Review came through with a very early preview of the Nokia N900, an upcoming device running the new Maemo 5 OS. I wrote that Nokia needed a facelift and they responded with the N900. I think this is the freshness that Nokia’s high-end users like me are looking for.
On Sunday I was happier than a fat kid in a candy store. I got to spend some hands-on time with the upcoming phones, Nokia N97 and Nokia E75. Those who followed @thenokiablog on Twitter had a preview by viewing the live photos as I played with the gadgets. What’s the verdict? I’m in love [...]
Continue reading Hands-On With The Nokia N97 and Nokia E75 at The Nokia Blog

Last Friday during the New York Nokia Users Meetup, I played with a Nokia N97 prototype. I’m now giving you my initial thoughts about the device. It’s nowhere near production because it kept crashing. Since the hardware is pretty much what we’ll see when it comes out, this preview will be based on that.
We’re not expecting the Nokia N97 until May, but Eldar from Mobile Review already comes out with the Nokia N97 review! It should be called a preview since the device is an early prototype, but who cares? I know I’m not the only one excited about this Qwerty-toting touch device from Nokia. Read these noteworthy [...]
Continue reading Review: Nokia N97 Review By Mobile Review Comes 5 Months Early at The Nokia Blog

I’ve been using the Nokia N85 for 3 weeks now and let me tell you that this is the best phone to have right now. It has become my replacement for my previous favorite, the Nokia N95 8GB. The Nokia N96 was supposed to take this title, but that phone has been collecting dust on [...]
Continue reading Nokia N85 Review – Part 1 The Physical at The Nokia Blog
