Alex Wrege was in New York over the weekend and stopped by the Nokia store. He made a video showing the Nokia N95 prototype at the store filmed with his Nokia N93. I’m surprised they let him take the video, because they gave me a hard time just taking a picture of it. Alex says,
the prototype was really very prototype-ish. Applications crashed all of the time and when using the built-in camera, the display showed some beta-funky-ness.
Although it is currently not up on their website yet, a video preview on YouTube appears to come from an All About Symbian editor. He previews the music functions of the Nokia N95 and even plays a trailer of the Pirates of the Caribbean on it. I found a misleading small error on his preview, though. The Nokia N95 has 2.6″ display instead of the 2.3″ he reported.
Sybarites.org, an interesting community for people who enjoy the finer things in life, shares their first impression of the Vertu Constellation. The weight is very noticeable, but they note that weight can portray good quality to some people. Since not that many people are fortunate enough to own this device, I am looking forward to their upcoming review of the concierge service, which is included in all Vertu phones.
