iMovie 08 and Nokia N95, Match Made in Video Heaven

It’s now even faster to edit and share videos from our phones to the internet thanks to iMovie ’08. In addition to Nokia having Nseries phones shooting videos at DVD-like quality at 30 frames per second and VGA size (640×480 pixels resolution), you can have good quality videos on the internet in a few minutes. For example is using my Nokia N95 for MarkTV episode 5.

Vlog: Road Trip to Philly with the Nokia N93i and N95

My friends and I were craving for some authentic cheesesteaks so we took a road trip from New York City to Philadelphia. Among the four of us, we had two Nokia N95s, an N93i, and a Nokia N80. The Nokia N93i became the favorite video tool, while the N95′s for pictures. We barely used the N80 (time to upgrade, G!). Now that I’m back in NYC, I combined our videos and photos and crammed them into a 3 minute video of our road trip. Check it out.

Vlog: Riding with the Nokia N95

For the third episode of MarkTV, I attached my Nokia N95 to the sunroof and recorded my drive on Grand Central Parkway. It’s been a while since the last episodes, so to reintroduce you to the show, MarkTV shows you what I can do with my Nokia phones. Try doing this with your iPhone… oops, the iPhone can’t even do videos! Check out the blooper at the end.

Vlog: Playing Global Race on the Nokia N95

I showed off the Global Race game on my Nokia N95 to my co-workers last week and they were surprised to see something like it on a phone. I also brought in the Nokia N93i to catch their reaction and thoughts on video.

Vlog: Can The Nokia N95 Stand on its Own?

I decided to see for myself if the Nokia N95 can stand on its own after watching Carol Chen’s aka Cybette’s video. I didn’t really try doing it before, so I was surprised that my N95 was actually able to stand still on its side and Cybette’s couldn’t. See the video to find out why.

Vlog: What’s In My Sister’s Pocket?

My sister is only 13 years old but she wants to win a Nokia N95. She asked me to make a video showing what’s in her pocket so she can submit it to the Nokia N95 contest. It is still in progress and a winner is named each week. In 4 weeks, Nokia will select the Hall of Famers and include their clips in a broadcasted commercial.

Vlog: Gaming on the Nokia N95

I made a video of how gaming looks on the Nokia N95 with one-handed, two-handed, and landscape views. It looks good! Nokia N95 is a serious little device, but it sure can handle fun. Check the video out and make sure to watch the end for a quick tip.

Vlog: From Computer to Nokia N95 to TV

I made a video showing one of the many capabilities of the Nokia N95. I transferred a TV episode I had on my 24-inch iMac to the Nokia N95, then connected it to the TV-out with my television. If you haven’t done this yet, you will be surprised at the quality of the video. I’m sorry the limited lighting on this video did not portray it accurately.

Vlog: Nokia N95 Video Test Mark TV Episode 1

Right after the unboxing, I wanted to see the quality of the video on the Nokia N95. Since I’m a fan of Steve Garfield’s series of Steve TV using the Nokia N95 to follow short daily activities, I decided to follow the same format for my video test. I was still in the middle of doing errands. My younger sister had fun being the cameraman. Check the video

Vlog: Chasing the Fedex Truck and Nokia N95 Unboxing

If you were following my twitter status today, you would know how crazy I was waiting for the Nokia N95 from FedEx. I had to leave the house to do some errands and was disappointed that I was going to miss the delivery. Fortunately, just when I was driving around the corner, the FedEx truck showed up. I followed the truck back to my house! Check the video.
