The web browser on my Nokia Nseries phones is my most used application and up until now I did not know the list of shortcuts available. I knew they existed, but I pressed buttons not knowing what will happen. If you feel the same, here are the shortcuts as well as a request for the S60 web browser developers.
Update your Nokia N95 8GB to a firmware with your preferred language pack by changing the product code on your phone. Updating your Nokia N95 8GB to the latest firmware, and/or changing the language pack is similar to the guide I wrote earlier on changing the product codes in the Nokia N95-1. If you are a new Nokia N95 8GB owner, this might be helpful if you want a different language pack in your new phone.
I’ve been enjoying taking pictures with the Nokia N82. The combination of the responsiveness of the camera, the bright xenon flash, quick autofocus, and the quick preview after snapping a picture in the Nokia N82 gives an excellent experience I have not felt while using my Nokia N95. Take a look at some sample pictures taken with my Nokia N82 following some of my activities in the past few hours.
At the launch of the Nokia N82 today at the Nokia House HQ, I had the opportunity to talk directly with the product managers responsible behind the the new phone. I set up my Nokia N95 on the Nokia DT-22 tripod on the conference table and recorded the whole session. I omitted some things to make the video short, but it still ended up to be around 23 minutes.
Reporting live from Nokia House headquarters in Finland, I used the Nokia N82 to take a quick video testing the xenon flash. More detailed thoughts, videos, and posts on the Nokia N82 later.
Here are some sample Nokia N82 photos from Nokia House. Live!
Reporting from Helsinki, Finland, I suggest you get ready for the Nseries launch available for everyone to watch at the Nokia Nseries True Stories webpage. A lot of convincing leaks, rumors, and speculations lead to the Nokia N82 phone, but we won’t know for sure until that countdown reaches zero.
I was at the Crown Point Festival last night, an event sponsored by Nokia Nseries here in New York City. In short, it is an annual 3-week festival showing off emerging and pioneering artists in film, theater and music. My girlfriend and I met up with Zach from Symbian in Motion, Donna, and Molly from Nseries WOM World to check it out. I was also able to briefly play with the Nokia N810 and compare the Nokia N95 8GB to my Nokia N95-3.
New Nokia Nseries product or products will be launched next week on November 13th. If the invitation email I received is accurate, I’ll be flown over from New York to the Nokia Headquarters in Finland and join other bloggers to meet with the product managers behind the launch. What is launching that day???
