Nokia Philippines just showed off their latest celebrity endorser in a Nokia Lumia TV commercial. Kris Aquino, also known as the “Queen of all Media,” shows how her Nokia Lumia 610 makes her everyday amazing. She’s kind of a big deal in the Philippines. Only time will tell if her fans will actually go out and buy Nokia phones.

Last night, I attended the Nokia Lumia 710 launch from Smart in Manila Philippines. The device will be exclusive to the carrier’s postpaid subscribers. There were formal announcements in the beginning and one huge party afterwards with DJ Erick Morillo.

Nokia USA Offers Free Color Covers for Nokia Lumia 710
Beginning March 1st, 2012, new and existing U.S. Nokia Lumia 710 owners can visit www.nokiacolorcover.com to choose their favorite Xpress-on color cover, and Nokia will ship it to them directly at no cost. They can choose from these brilliant colors: white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow.
Report: 600,000 Nokia N9 Devices Shipped in Q4 2011
About 600,000 MeeGo-based Nokia N9 devices were shipped in Q4 2011 according to a recent report from Canalys. Nokia shipped twice as many Nokia Lumia devices running Windows Phone during the same period. Nokia’s total smartphone shipments for the quarter came in at 19.6 million.

On my way to lunch, I checked out my local T-mobile store to see how they’re promoting the Nokia Lumia 710. It looks like they’re really pushing this phone to everyone who enters the door. There are a lot of signs inside and outside the store for the device. While browsing around, I stumbled upon a pamphlet that talks about the selling points for the Lumia 710 and 5 ways to demo it. I’m not sure if it’s meant for T-Mobile’s associates or customers. Take a look.

I’ve been playing with the T-mobile Nokia Lumia 710 for at least a week already and now I’m ready to share my review. It’s the first Nokia Windows Phone in the US.
