New Nokia Store Now Available at Beta Labs, Here’s a First look
Nokia Beta Labs just released the new Nokia Store. It will replace the current Store client on your Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna device. Nokia is asking users to test it before it is deployed in a software update. I installed it on my Nokia N8 and recorded my first 4 minutes of usage.
Demo: Swype for Symbian 2.0 Beta
Swype for Symbian got updated to 2.0 and it’s available now at Nokia Beta Labs. The most obvious change is support for portrait and split-screen for devices with Symbian Anna. Here’s a demo of this awesome keyboard on my Nokia N8.
Video: Nokia Reader Beta demo on Nokia N8
Nokia Beta Labs introduced Nokia Reader on Monday and I just found some time to try it out. I made a demo video so you can see how the app performs in real life with the Nokia N8, instead of the official Nokia video. Nokia Reader is a simple RSS reader to manage news feeds on your Symbian phone. Check it out.

Unfortunately, Mac support is missing.

Swype Now at Nokia Beta Labs. Brings Portrait Qwerty to Symbian^1 Too
One of my wishes for Nokia became true this morning when Swype for Symbian became available at Beta Labs. If you are unfamiliar with Swype, it’s a faster way to input text on screen by sliding your finger over the letters. I know it sounds crazy, but it works really well after learning how to use it. Watch the official announcement video and a raw footage of me Swyping one-handed with the Nokia C6 after the jump.
