Nokia E73 Software Update 043.001
I’m not sure when it became available, but there’s a new firmware update 043.001 for the Nokia E73. @ActualAsianMale tweeted about it this evening and I had to check for myself. The device feels faster after the update, but I could also be imagining things. A changelog shows only an update to a browser security dialog.

I’ve been playing with the Nokia E73 Mode for a few days now and I want to share with you what I think. It’s 2010 and we’re already used to seeing phones with large touchscreens, but it looks like Qwerty-only devices from Nokia aren’t going away anytime soon. We’re just a few days away from the Nokia E73 Mode’s official launch on June 16th, but it looks like some T-mobile stores have them already. I’m not sure if they’re selling them yet, but we spotted several hands-on photos a few days ago and now there’s a video on Youtube which was clearly recorded from a T-mobile store .

The Nokia E73 Mode isn’t expected to go on sale until June 16th, but TmoNews already found one in the wild and took a bunch of hands-on photos. After having some time with it, they say Nokia, “still makes some of the best looking phones on the planet.”
Nokia E73 Mode Launched Exclusively for T-mobile USA
The Nokia E73 Mode was announced today exclusively for T-Mobile USA customers. It looks like the Nokia E72 with minor differences. The E73 will be the thinnest full QWERTY keyboard smartphone available from T-Mobile and will be available June 16th for $69.99 with 2-year contract.
