Today I went hiking with Sheila at Breakneck Ridge which is about an hour north of New York City. I brought along the Nokia N82 to record our hike with Sports Tracker and take pictures with the 5 megapixel camera. I was really glad I had the Nokia N82 because the ’shortcut’ we took led us to a poorly marked trail and an omfg snake. Read on for more details.

Currently, Sports Tracker users cannot have embeddable codes to show off their maps on blogs. During my vacation in Mexico, I used the Nokia N95 NAM with Nokia Sports Tracker to help me track where I travelled and help me locate where the pictures I took with. I already shared how to embed the location of geotagged photos but now I’ll tell you how to include the location path you took and perhaps create and share position art like Stavros.

So you have a bunch of photos geotagged with GPS-capable cameraphones like the Nokia N95 or the Nokia N82 and want to show it off on your blog. Here’s the tutorial on how to do it so you and other bloggers can show off where you’ve taken your pictures. This was how I was able to embed my map in my blog posts.

I used the Nokia N95 NAM to take pictures at Puerto Vallarta, one of the ports visited during the cruise last week. All the photos were geotagged thanks to Shozu. I also embedded a map in this post to show the route from the beach back to the ship using Sports Tracker. My girlfriend spent half of the day shopping for jewelry, so we did not really see much of the city.
