Jan Ole, the developer for our favorite Twitter app on Symbian is currently testing Push notifications on Gravity. In this recent build 6698, Replies and Direct Messages pop up on screen when you receive them. They also show up at the screensaver. It looks like a nice feature to have. My favorite addition in latest build 6358, adds silent check-ins which I like to do when I don’t want to share certain check-ins. The update also includes bug fixes and changes in GPS handling. Janole, the developer of Gravity, kindly provided a changelog for our readers, so check it out for more details.

Updates and bug fixes on Gravity come frequently, so you might even see a newer version by the time you read this.

I Love Gravity – v1.17 Introduces Twitter Groups

post thumbnail

Mobileways updated Gravity, a Twitter app on the S60, to version 1.17 on May 4th. I love this app even more now that it supports Twitter groups. If you follow a lot of people on Twitter, groups make it easier for you to organize the tweets you read. Many people like Gravity for several reasons, but this functionality makes it a must-have app for S60 Twitter power users.

Review: Gravity – Twitter App For S60

post thumbnail

Mobileways released Gravity on Monday and I’ve been using it on the Nokia 5800. One of the most common questions I find on Twitter from people who mention Nokia, is what app to use for Twitter? Look no further because here it is. Gravity is an app you can download and install on your phone, however there are mobile sites accessible through the browser like Dabr that offer the same features. What’s the difference? Gravity looks pretty.
