Nokia Philippines just sent emails to select media members teasing about the date, May 18th. It says, “Something Amazing is About to Happen.” The colorful tiles and the word, Amazing, clearly hints it is related to Nokia Lumia devices. Nokia Chairman Jorma Ollila told the Financial Times that the company will launch a range of tablets and hybrid smart mobile devices that will “make a difference.” No dates or roadmaps were mentioned.

He told the audience at the 2011 Mobile Telecompaper conference they would launch the first handsets this year in Netherlands, France, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy. What a tease!
