Nokia Lumia 800 Hidden Diagnostics Tool Demo
The Nokia Lumia 800 has a hidden diagnostics tool that provides tests for troubleshooting potential issues in the device. The tests are not necessarily complete and do not substitute authorized service repair, but I thought it’d be cool to show how to get access.
How to Edit Your Xbox Avatar on Windows Phone. Nokia Lumia 800 Demo
A product manager once showed me how to edit your Xbox Live avatar on the phone, but forgot to ask the name of the app. After some digging, I found it at the Marketplace. It’s called Xbox Live Extras and it’s free. I’m showing it here on the Nokia Lumia 800.
Reaching Number 45
The three main reasons I prefer Windows Phone over MeeGo (Nokia N9) and Symbian are apps, apps, and apps. I keep finding new things to install on the Nokia Lumia 800 that look great and work well. It seems I just passed a milestone. Something happens when you reach 45 items in the app list. Take look.
Metrotube Demo on Nokia Lumia 800. Nice Youtube App for Windows Phone
Here’s a demo of Metrotube on the Nokia Lumia 800. The official YouTube app for Windows Phone is ridiculous. As far as I can tell, it just opens the mobile Youtube website. Keep your eyes open for Metrotube, an alternative that shows how the official Youtube app should be. It’s currently in beta, but will be available in the marketplace soon.
Demo: Seesmic goes 2.0, Shown on the Nokia Lumia 800
Seesmic for Windows Phone was just updated to support Mango and I’m showing it off on the Nokia Lumia 800. Seesmic lets you manage multiple Twitter accounts, your Facebook account, your Salesforce Chatter account and organize all your accounts, searches, trending topics and lists in your customizable “spaces” dashboard.
Demo: Thumba Photo Editor is like Photoshop for Windows Phone
I keep finding new things to love about Windows Phone on the Nokia Lumia 800. I really like the deep integration third-party apps can have with the core Windows Phone experience. For example, let’s take a look at the app called Thumba Photo Editor. After taking a photo with the camera, you can head to options then tap apps. This will send the photo directly to the app for some photo editing. For the end-user, this makes the third party app feel like a built-in feature.
Nokia Lumia 800 Review
Here’s our Nokia Lumia 800 review. When the Fedex shipment tracker said the Nokia Lumia 800 was at my door, I quickly took a cab home. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Nokia’s latest hero device. A couple of paranoid thoughts mixed with excitement went through my head during the half hour ride. What if one of my neighbors took it? What if the delivery man dropped it off at the wrong door? Fortunately, the package was safe, waiting for me when I got home.
How Many Nokia Lumia 800 Devices Are In This Photo?
At Nokia World, the Senior Vice President of Developer and Marketplace at Nokia announced that they will be shipping 25,000 Nokia Lumia 800 devices to developers around the world. I think we may have found a photo of some of those Nokia Lumia 800 smartphones on the way to the developers.
