I’ve been in Houston, Texas visiting relatives for the past week. Yesterday, I took my mom on a bus tour to a casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The trip took two and a half hours to get there. I’ll tell you how I survived the road trip with the Nokia N82, Nokia N95, Nokia N800, and Proporta charger

The night before, I loaded up about 2 hours of video podcasts on the Nokia N82. I managed to watch all of it before the battery ran out.

I also managed to take a few pictures along the way while on the bus. I love the N82 geotagging feature, I’d never know where these pictures were taken otherwise.

So anyway, when we got to the casino, the Nokia N82 was out of juice. I then plugged the N82 into my Proporta USB Mobile Device Charger. I don’t gamble, so I walked around and toured the grounds.

After a large lunch at the buffet, I found a nice quiet area and watched some movies on my Nokia N800 internet tablet.

On the trip back, I listened to a podcast on my Nokia N95 with my bluetooth headphones while internet browsing with the Nokia N82. I neglected to fully charge the N95 and ran out of juice after about 90 minutes. I plugged in the Proporta charger and I was able to continue listening without having to turn off the N95 to change the batteries.

When I finally got home, the Nokia N82 was out of juice. I plugged it in and got one more full charge out of the Proporta charger before it gave me the red light.
